Borrell breaks down local digital advertising.

chart-up-down-flatBorrell Associates has released a new report titled “Benchmarking Local Digital Media.” The report is a look back, charting the growth of digital advertising: “Twenty years ago, online advertising was barely a blip on any media company’s radar. Today, it’s providing a much-needed shot in the arm to flagging ad sales at print and broadcast companies.” The report also notes, “In most local markets, the daily newspaper is the largest single seller of digital advertising.”
