Another troll rears its ugly head.

A company calling itself Global Interactive Media is filing a suit against Hubbard broadcasting in an Illinois federal court claiming that displaying radio playlists online violates two patents held by Global Interactive. The complaint alleges that the website of Hubbard’s WDRV/Chicago violates a patent “for receiving one or more user inquiries from one or more recipients [blah blah blah].” The second complaint alleges that the website violates another patent, “for a method of providing listeners or viewers of a radio or television broadcast with automated information about program material [blah blah blah].” Global Interactive is asking for “a reasonable royalty” plus interest.
