And the Fines Just Keep on Coming

The FCC has fined a Fort Lauderdale, Florida man $10,000 for operating an unlicensed radio station at 96.1 FM.

The agency has also issued Notices of Unlicensed Operation to alleged perpetrators in Phoenix, AZ, Madison, WI, Anchorage, AK, Vine Grove, KY, and Ventura, CA.

The Commission has also proposed a $15,000 fine against the owner of Spanish Religion station KESQ-AM, Indio, California for quarterly issues/programs lists missing from its public file.

Another public file infraction at KPIR-AM, Granbury, TX, netted its owner an $8,000 fine.
