Larry Wilson’s Alpha Media now owns all of Dean Goodman’s Digity radio stations in a $264 million deal. Alpha now owns 251 stations in 53 markets and is the fourth largest broadcast company in the country by station count and the third largest by market account. According to Wilson, “We are very pleased to get this remarkable transaction done, resulting in making Alpha the fourth largest radio company in America.” Editor’s $0.02: The deal includes our former radio stations in Fairfield, Iowa. We wish Larry every success. At least until the check clears.
