A new award from the RTDNF goes to. . .

The Radio Television Digital News Foundation has established the First Amendment Defender Award to honor those who have, well, defended the First Amendment. The first award recipient will be Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) who, according to RTDNF Chair Scott Libin, “has been a staunch defender of First Amendment freedoms over the years. She has supported cameras in courts, she has worked to advanced government transparency, and she has pursued protections for the press through oversight. . . Her record represents exactly the sort of leadership RTDNF seeks to recognize.”
